“Loading Screen Creator | Easy & Flexible” by SlownLS & Slawer sold over 500 copies on GmodStore — proof that GMod server owners want drag-and-drop loading screens. But the addon is now marked unsupported, and it always required your own web server with PHP 7.0+.

Four maintained replacements

1. Lumescreen (this site)

The closest experience to a “creator”, minus the PHP server: a live visual editor, 15 themes, music, staff roster and analytics, hosted for you. Free plan available; Premium €25/year or €50one-time — familiar pricing if you're used to GmodStore's pay-once model. See the creator.

2. Gmodload (Physgun)

Free hosted maker with preset themes and a real-time editor. No analytics and less design freedom, but zero cost and no server to maintain.

3. Other GmodStore addons

SleekLoad, Tee Load, Aniq Load and others (~$5.99 one-time) are still sold. Like Loading Screen Creator, they're self-hosted files — check each product's support status and requirements before buying.

4. Open-source templates

GitHub templates remain an option if you already run a web server — but the well-known ones (e.g. CodeBrauer's) are archived, so expect to maintain the code yourself.

My Loading Screen Creator install still works — should I switch?: Not necessarily. If it renders correctly and your PHP host is stable, keep it. Plan a migration when something breaks, when you change web hosts, or when you want analytics the addon never had.
Can I reuse my existing design when migrating?: You'll rebuild it in the new tool's editor — usually under an hour with your existing images and music. The server-side switch is just replacing the sv_loadingurl line.
